Another home sold! It’s an interesting thing selling the house you grew up in, but that’s exactly what this is. We moved to the Chicago area in 1975 after my parents had this house built by renowned local builder Lou Werd. It was a great home to grow up in with the Deer Grove Forest Preserve across the street from our cul-de-sac, and lifelong friends made in the neighborhood. Until we sold the house to a lovely young family, my family (my parents / my Dad) were the only owners.
